February 4th, Commercial Marketplace

The first of the month is always the time to meet, network and exchange commercial property haves and wants.  Breakfast and networking starts at 8:30am and the property exhcange starts at 9:00am.  It is FREE for Members and $10 for non-members including breakfast email for more info or to sign up.

February 11th, Multi-Family: Prospects & Perspectives

This dynamic panel will include brokers, an economist and a developer discussing the current and future multi-family market.  They will talk about small apartments as well as large condominium building.  Speakers include: Alex Aquirre of Keyes Commercial, Robert Givens from CB Richard Ellis, Jay Massirman from Rivergate Residential and Jack Winston of Goodkin Consulting.

Property Tax Reform Update
Click below to read about the two phases of property tax reform in Florida.  The first has been signed into law and is in effect, and the second will be voted on in January of 2008.  The portion in effect caps the rate of increase in local budgets, which should be good for commercial property owners.
